How to become an expert golf player
Every sport has different levels. As with any sport, every athlete must start at the bottom and work their way up. This can be compared to a business or corporation; you need to start at the very bottom in an entry level position and work your way up to the top. Golf is no different than any other sport; it has a novice or amateur level, a mid-level, and a professional level. The difference between an amateur golfer and a professional golfer is extremely wide and many more years of practice.
While there are many golfers out there who are considered amateur or mid-level golfers, they may occasionally obtain a professional level score. While this may be so, those golfers are unable to get professional scores on a regular basis leaving them behind in golf tournaments as they can’t qualify to get on tour. These are many golfers that start playing for the purpose of playing professionally and to make an income doing what they love. Your office will be the golf course and your co-workers are other golfers that enjoy the game just as much as you do. You have the same interests as professional golfers and can serve as a very rewarding and satisfying career.
The first thing you need to do is qualify for qualifying school (yes, you read that correctly). Every year qualifying events are held for some of the biggest golf tours such as the LPGA and the PGA. Only a limited amount of players will be able to get a membership to the tour for the following golf season. This is your tour card; you will be able to play in a majority of the golf tour events without needing to qualify.
